These treatments offer many benefits to people of all skin types. Through the use of gentle abrasive diamond wands combined with an airstream, the microdermabrasion method gently removes the upper layer of dead skin cells.

Dermaplaning involves the use of a surgical blade to remove fine vellus hair from the face, along with light exfoliation. The hair that grows back will not be darker or thicker, however any hormonal imbalance that may be present within the anatomical system can alter the normal hair growth pattern (if a chemical peel is part of this treatment the sensation and penetration of the peel will be enhanced and may cause skin irritation, mild discomfort, tenderness, lightening or darkening of the skin, infection, scarring, peeling, and activation of cold sores).

Mild peels used in our Micro-Peel, such as enzyme, gently exfoliate and help promote healthy skin renewal. More aggressive peels, such as TCA will exfoliate more thoroughly but also promote healthy skin renewal. Removal of dead tissue brings the healthy under layer of skin to the surface, encouraging healthy cell rejuvenation.

The Liquid Oxygen Treatment stimulates oxygen and circulation with the skin to help with sluggish, stressed or acne affected skin. These procedures are usually painless and are always non-invasive.

Before treatment please make sure you do not have a sunburn, cold sore or any open abrasions on your face. Please wash your face prior to your treatment, either at home or upon arrival at our facility. Do not expose your face to the sun or excessive heat for 48 hours prior to or post treatment. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for 3 days post treatment.  Most people have mild flaking after the treatment for 1 -2 days. A list of ingredients may be obtained from our office upon request. If you have any side effects not discussed, please contact Elite Medical Skin & Laser Center immediately. Do not schedule this procedure before an important event and allow 2 weeks post treatment in case you experience side effects.
