Pre and Post Treatment Care

CoolSculpting

Before Your CoolSculpting Treatment

  1. Eat a Light Meal or Snack – We recommend having a light meal or snack before your appointment. This helps keep your energy stable and prevents any discomfort, like lightheadedness during the treatment. Eating beforehand ensures you’ll feel your best throughout the session.
  2. Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of water before your session to help your body respond to the treatment.
  3. Wear Comfortable Clothing – Loose clothing is best for your comfort during the procedure.

Post-Treatment Care

  1. Massage the Treated Area – To help your body process the treated fat cells more efficiently, we recommend massaging the area for about 1 minute twice a day for the next 30 days. This can help you see your results faster and make the most of your treatment.
  2. Understanding Possible Side Effects – After your CoolSculpting session, you may experience temporary effects like redness, bruising, swelling, tenderness, or a tingling sensation in the treated area. Some clients may also notice a brief ‘phantom pain,’ which is a mild discomfort that usually fades in a few weeks. These are all normal as your body processes the treated fat cells.
  3. Follow Your Treatment Plan – For the best outcome, it’s important to follow through with your full treatment plan, which may include multiple CoolSculpting sessions. We strongly recommend scheduling 2 treatments within 100 days for optimal results. Before and after photos are required to track your progress.

Important Notes

Who is NOT a Candidate?
  • Diastasis Recti (DRA): If you have DRA, we can address it with CoolTone first. Once the condition improves, you may proceed with CoolSculpting on the abdomen.
  • Hernia in the Treatment Area: CoolSculpting is not recommended if you have a hernia in the area being treated.
  • Raynaud’s Disease: This condition affects blood flow to certain parts of the body, typically the fingers and toes. Due to the cold temperatures involved in CoolSculpting, individuals with Raynaud’s may experience complications.
  • Cryoglobulinemia: This condition involves the presence of abnormal proteins in the blood that can thicken in cold temperatures. CoolSculpting is not advised for those with cryoglobulinemia, as it may trigger adverse reactions.
Rare Side Effects Although CoolSculpting treatments are generally safe, there is a potential for rare side effects in a limited number of cases.
