Childcare Policies & Procedures

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text.

Sick
Please keep your child at home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever of 100 degrees or higher
  • Vomiting/Diarrhea in the last 24 hours
  • Any unexplained rash
  • A persistent deep, hacking cough
  • Excessive drainage/discharge from mouth, nose, eyes, or ears
  • Any other sign of a communicable disease

Food/Drinks
Food/Drinks will not be provided. Any food/drink needed should be provided and stored in a spill-proof cup. We will also adhere to a nut-free room.

Restroom
If a restroom break is needed and we are unable to accommodate, the parent/guardian will need to be removed temporarily from the treatment room and asked to facilitate a restroom break. Per state guidelines, the childcare room is not currently set up to accommodate diaper changing and therefore the parent/guardian will need to be pulled from their treatment room to assist.

Behavior
While your child is on the premises, we will handle any disciplinary problems in a loving manner. Guidelines are necessary for the protection of the group and the individual child. In the event a child needs extra guidance, the following steps will be followed:

  • Warning 1 – Re-direct/Friendly reminder
  • Warning 2 – Verbal warning
  • Warning 3 – Parent contact
