What is a Micro-Fresh Treatment?
Microdermabrasion is an exfoliation technique that revitalizes your skin, creating a new surface that is sensitive to the elements. First, we exfoliate your skin with our microdermabrasion treatment. Then, we utilize our herbal-based refreshing mask to calm your skin. Skin can feel stressed or vulnerable after exfoliation, and this mask is the perfect complement, as it hydrates and moisturizes your skin.
Are there any side effects?
Microdermabrasion does not involve cutting, surgery, or synthetic chemicals. It also has minimal side effects. A slight pink or flushed tone is common after treatment and should subside in a few hours. Our clients may feel a mild scratching sensation during treatment from the exfoliation. This is normal, and these sensations will subside after treatment.
The refreshing mask contains natural ingredients that relax the skin and reduce dryness and flakiness that may occur after exfoliation. To maintain your skin’s new and healthy surface, we will ask you to wear sunscreen and limit sun exposure after your treatment.
